What’s in it for the children?
At St.Wilfrid’s we aim to be a church for all ages and we hope that everyone who joins in our worship and activities feels welcome and at home.
Nevertheless, in the midst of all we do, children and young people have a special place. We offer opportunities for children to learn and grow in Christian faith and we try to meet young people “where they are at” in their lives.
Here are some details of what is on offer each week for younger people. Every child and young person is welcome to join us.
Worship for All
1st Sunday in every month. 10.30 am
A lively and fast moving act of worship for all ages.
Crčche for babies and toddlers up to 3 years old during 10.30am Sunday Services
Adult supervision in the back room of church.
Baby & Toddler Group
Every wednesday morning from 9:30 till 11:00 at the Oasis Centre, Burnor Pool.
Sunday Club
3yrs upwards.Every 2nd and 4th Sunday 10.20 am at the Oasis Centre, Burnor Pool
Creative activities for worship and Christian teaching.
Oasis Youth Club
School year 6 plus
Thursdays 7-9pm in the Oasis, Burnor Pool
A safe environment to hang out and meet friends.
